knitted stories has become a project devoted to the people and places that connect us, and the stories we continue. As the vast knitted project we have created with amazing women from different corners of country, it has become a work of detail and awareness, in the landscape of  the past and the present, the visible and invisible, imagination, nostalgia and reality.

knitted stories will be installed and performed in public parks, premiering in Ledaalparken November 2026. The piece is dealing with connection, with an emphasis on the intergenerational - which places, materials, sounds and movements are bringing us together in a time characterized by separation? The piece will be performed by dance artists Sarka Benedova and Ingvild Thingnes, in collaboration with vocalist/composer Anna Klungre and Korallene senior choir.
